Zrmanja starts its journey of 69 km below mountain od Velebit. To it´s journy to the estuary in the Novigrad sea river creates beautiful narrow canyon which reaches to 100 meters hight´s. Zrmanja contains multiple waterfalls and rapids. River is often called hidden beauty because of its location, there is only one way to see the magnificent canyon of Zrmanja and that is by boat. The river is navigable 18 km, from the estuary to the first and one of the most beautiful waterfall Jankovića buk, the canyon in that area is surrounded by steep cliffs, remains of ancient fortifications and citys and rare vegetation combined with rivers emerald green colour unique in the world and that is the part where boat excursions are organized.
